broken tv hard bed
The room was quite basic. A tiny TV was there but it never worked which was annoying. I came when it was windy and the window didn't close properly. There was so much draft I had to sleep in extra clothes. The bed was very hard and bumpy, the springs felt severely worn down. I was not happy.

local information quiet room
the location is good for the beach. the host was helpful and resourceful with local information. the family room offered enough space for luggage. the room was quiet at night as the hotel is off the main streets.
on-street parking near the hotel is limited.

broken tv faulty window
the hotel was clean and tidy enough.
the tv didn't work at all which really made relax a struggle after a long day. also, the window in my room just refused to shut properly, letting in all sorts of noise. electricity went out halfway through my stay so i left earlier then i planed.

The manager granted my request for an earlier check-in, acceptable.
The television in my room was not functional. the window did not close properly, I could not get it shut. A significant draft resulted.
